Anyone know what this is?
This appears to be some form of evergreen, but I don't think I have ever seen these pink blossoms before. Don't we have any experts out there who can shed some light?

The name is Bond, James Bond. No, really I am John Woodward, but I do admire the character who is sometimes shaken, but not stirred.

Where was the photo taken? Locally or at the beach?

OK, my commentary on the WWW; although I must admit I always secretly pulled for Dr Loveless to get a victory every now and then
Loved Jim and Artemus. As for the plant, YOYO
no idea about the plant, but all these pictures are making me impatient for my beach trip next weekend...
I checked with my resident botanist and the plant is most likely a pink heather flower. Check it out on the internet but my botanist stated I should advise you to query it as a heather flower and not just "heather" if you know what I mean. She also stated the photo was probably taken near the beach.
You are correct, West. It was very near the beach as it was on the beach access we used for the week. Thanks for the info.
