A Bowl Full of Green Cherries?


I have heard that you can fry these things (while they are still green) but I have never tried it. I suppose it would work better with the larger varieties. I picked these a couple of days ago, right before we were expecting a freeze. They will probably turn to a nice orange if not red.

  1. You can fry green tomatoes. Just slice the tomatoes, roll in cornmeal and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. They taste a lot like fried squash.
