Water Heater
We had been having these strange clicking and buzzing sounds coming from our electric water heater for some time. But the water heater still worked--at least we had hot water. We called the manufacturer and got a new board to replace the original one. When I took off the cover, this is what I found. (Notice the burned wires at the upper right.) It seemed reasonable that I might not even need to replace the board. So I didn't. At least not yet. It seems that the problem very well may be solved now. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hey John,
You almost had a fire there. Probably the connection was loose and caused heat to build up. Glad you located the problem.
Teamwork, that's what it was, teamwork. Thanks for your expert opinion.
