Watching Grass Grow, continued

I think that I realize the problem. My loving wife told me today that we have grass growing around the mailbox now. I was taking photos too far away. As you can plainly see, there IS grass growing from that strange blue-green concoction. I will continue to post pics as long as there is this thriving interest in lawn maintenance.
