Kernersville Car Show

I went to a little car show in Kernersville on Sat. It was held at the famous Korner's Folly, a house in Kernersville that is somewhat strange. You see that the sign says it is the strangest car show, which the only thing strange about it is that it is held at Korner's Folly. I didn't show you all of the cars that were there, but you get a good idea of what was there.

If the Cobra was an orginal Shelby and not a kit car, that would be my choice. Otherwise the 60 something yellow Corvette.

It belongs to Dustin Mann of Greensboro and the card says it is a 2001 car, so I s'pose that means its a kit--but its not named kit, then it would be an 80s Trans Am, like David Hasselhoff drove in Knight Rider. But I digress. It is stated as a 427 cu. in. engine with 640 hp. Still, its not a bad choice. A couple cars bring back memories for me--the aqua and white '55 chevy. (We had a four-door version, same color.) Then there is the 1965 Comet Caliente with a 289. We had a red hardtop with black interior, bucket seats, four on the floor, and wire wheels. My brother wrapped that around a telephone pole. He spent the night in the hospital with small cut on his back.

wonder if you can get a good dill on that pickle car? You could barter with them, if that's kosher......

I am afraid that it might go sour.
