The Brunch Group

Sue, Giulia and Adele stopped in Durham a few days on their way to Florida to see Georgia and Dwight (and Eva when she arrives.) So Bill, Pat and I met them at Foster's in Durham on Saturday. Adele didn't seem to be that hungry as she mostly colored and played with a magnetic facial hair game. We all had a good time seeing each other even though it was a short visit.

Louisville Zoo

Here are a few shots from the Louisville Zoo. It was a very hot day so we didn't stay too long. The peacock pic was taken by Ben, but I am pretty sure the rest are mine. I am particularly "proud" of the shot of the snow leopard, (third one from the bottom.) I put proud in quotation marks because I really shouldn't be proud that we have taken from the wild and caged this rare cat. You can tell he is a southern snow leopard because he has been drinking out of a Dixie Cup.

Garden

And here are a few shots from the garden. Check out the trellis for the cukes!! Notice the tomatoes that came up from last year without any planting!!

Here are a few others (taken by another photographer.) Did I ever tell you that my favorite color is red? Eli, what's up with the Mets jersey? I thought I taught you to be a Yankees fan, or a Cinncinnati Reds fan.

Louisville Visit

We visited Ben, Sarah and Eli last week and here are a few pics that were taken. I will post some others soon so keep posted. (Notice that Eli has already taken up with Superheros.)

Garden

Here are a couple of pics just a couple day's apart so that you can see how Pat's garden is coming along. So far, we have harvested only radishes, but it won't be too much longer for some other veggies to come in.
