Babies

Here are a couple of shots of babies in the family. The one in the pink and white striped hat is Adele and is the daughter of my sister's younger daughter, Giulia. The other one, (the kid with the blue sailing shirt and with the water background is Dawson, the son of Sheri, daughter of my wife's sister, Mary Lou. These babies are really something, but you need to meet them personally to get to know them. Aren't they just precious children?

San Francisco

Here are a couple of pics from the Thanksgiving trip we took to San Francisco, when we went to see David, (our firstborn son.) (Ben was able to go with Pat and me.) This is a mural on the inside wall of Coit Tower, and the lower shot is a view of the same tower from Lombard St. just at the bottom of the winding S-curve section. (If you have seen Bullitt, starring Steve McQueen or a number of other San Francisco movies with car chases you have seen film of this section.) Coit Tower is built in the shape of a fireman's nozzle, because the lady who funded the project was saved from a fire as a child. It is a gives beautiful view of the city when seen from the top. David was kind enough to show us each section of the city, at least as much as was visible. This is one of many attractions in SF, and we do look forward to returning soon.

Working Saturday

I don't work too many Saturdays any more, so this isn't so bad. We are closing out for the month and getting every possible yard of cloth in order to satisy our stockholders and our customers. I have a busy weekend ahead of me still, with a Sunday School Teachers luncheon that my wife and I will be serving because we are on the Hospitality Committee. She is at the church today to get ready for feeding of the 5000, uh, excuse me it may be only 25 or 30. We really do need to show our appreciation to our Sunday School teachers who serve our Lord faithfully each week. I may not get to ride my bike around Salem Lake this weekend, but I will make up for lost time, let me assure you.

Bonding

I am attempting to show one of my favorite pics from Camp Willow Run, which is one of my favorite places. Let's see if this will work...
