Saiga Antelope

Fifteen years ago, there were millions of these in the central Asian steppes, and now they have been reduced to nearly nothing. The reasons given? The collapse of the Soviet Union forced more hunting for livlihood, and the opening of the door to China where the males antlers are used in medicine.
