Ben and Sarah
Well, its almost time for the big day! Our son Ben and Sarah Harrison will be married in Richmond Dec. 17. We were up there for their last shower this past weekend. It is hard to believe in one way, and in another, it seems like the natural course of events. (The pic here is one of Ben and Sarah at a Cracker Barrel, they day they became engaged.) One more benefit we will enjoy is that our older son, David will be here for the wedding (as he is best man.) We are looking forward to his arrival on Thursday, Dec. 15! We are also looking forward to seeing so many friends and family at this joyous occasion. It seems that Christmas will have to take a back seat to this, and that really doesn't seem right, but we will do our best to celebrate it, keeping the true spirit and meaning in our hearts.

Can't wait to put on my "Sunday-go-to-meeting" clothes and hit the big city of Richmond. If Barney thought Raleigh was just "go-go-go", what do you think he would say about Richmond? See you there!
It is obvious that Barney would have been overwhelmed by the sights of Richmond!! They showed the Christmas epi last night on WFMY around 8:30. I had gone to the store and it was on when I returned. Pat said they had about 30 min. or commercials right before. I was able to TiVo that show in case any family members care to see it during the holidays...uhm excuse me, CHRISTMAS holidays. I certainly don't want to be accused omitting the word Christmas!!!
