Here is one wedding pic

Here is a pic of the bride and goom before I have a chance to get some more and put them up for you. Yes, it was a lovely wedding, and we are looking forward to seeing the newlyweds Christmas Day. By the way, Merry Chrismas everyone.

Ben and Sarah are married!!

Ben and Sarah had a lovely ceremony Saturday, and are somewhere in Central America on their honeymoon. We all had a wonderful time this weekend, and it was good to see so many friends and family there. There was a very good representation from Camp Willow Run, I might add. Sorry, I don't have any pics of the wedding so this one of their engagement day will have to suffice. (This was in Shenandoah Park.) We look forward to seeing them again on Christmas day, as they will be coming down from Richmond. It is good also, to have our older son, David with us as well. He left this AM for Charleston, SC, and will be returning later this week. He doesn't have to go back to the west coast until Dec. 27. Again, I apologize for lack of a more recent photo, but this is from David's European vacation in 2001. We will enjoy the time we have with our sons, and now we have a daughter-in-law to enjoy as well.

Wedding Week!!!

Here is a pic of Ben and Sarah at the shower in Durham. They are a lovely couple, don't you think? Did I mention they are getting married this Saturday (Dec. 17) in Richmond. Ben's older brother, David, (best man) will be flying into RDU on Thursday and will be over here (in the east) through Dec. 27. We are looking forward to seeing many friends and family at the big event, and we pray that God will bless the home of Ben and Sarah richly.

Alias, again

Well, I hope you guys didn't miss Alias this week, and if you did, it might be that it was on Wed. night instead of Thurs. But I hope you didn't miss it, 'cause it was another great epi. Too bad this is the last season, but it really wouldn't be the same without Syd and Michael. Syd had to hang back at the ranch and protect her unborn child. BTW, Jennifer and Ben's real-life baby girl was born Thurs, a week ago (Dec.1.) So I won't spoil the story if you haven't seen it. I am sure you will have a chance to catch a rerun, or someone you know will have it on tape or TiVo. Hey, you know that TiVo gadget is pretty neat. Makes me wonder what I ever did without one. For those of you that don't know there is one more Wed. night epi of Alias at 10 PM EST, so don't miss it. Hey, I have to get back to the real life now; my son is getting married next weekend!

Ben and Sarah

Well, its almost time for the big day! Our son Ben and Sarah Harrison will be married in Richmond Dec. 17. We were up there for their last shower this past weekend. It is hard to believe in one way, and in another, it seems like the natural course of events. (The pic here is one of Ben and Sarah at a Cracker Barrel, they day they became engaged.) One more benefit we will enjoy is that our older son, David will be here for the wedding (as he is best man.) We are looking forward to his arrival on Thursday, Dec. 15! We are also looking forward to seeing so many friends and family at this joyous occasion. It seems that Christmas will have to take a back seat to this, and that really doesn't seem right, but we will do our best to celebrate it, keeping the true spirit and meaning in our hearts.
