Labor Day Family Time
It was so good to get together with the our whole family over the weekend. I know we have another one coming up, so I am a bit slow in posting. We had travelled to Louisville to visit with our son Ben, and his wife Sarah. We met in the lobby of the Legacy Center (on the campus of Southern Baptist Seminary. Just after meeting them there, Ben takes a call on his cell. He says, "Oh, its your other son." (He was speaking of David, who lives in San Francisco.) He hands the phone to his mother, and she talks for a second, and then hands it to me. While I am talking on the phone, there is this guy to my left talking on a cell, who keeps moving closer to "our space." I am thinking what is he doing coming over here talking on a cell, while I am trying to talk to my California son, and Pat, Ben and Sarah are trying to talk to each other. This guy comes right up behind his mother's chair, (for we are all sitting in chairs in a circle) and I look up and there is David! The boys had it planned for a month. We enjoyed the surprise and being with everyone.
