Last One...

Here is the latest and the last of my Wii Tennis achievements. I actually lost a few points after winning a game against Sarah and Elisa (two computer players.)

I thought it couldn't be done...

I somehow thought that 2000 was unreachable, but here I have broken it with this 2002. So what is the limit, if there is one? We shall see.

Wii Sports--Tennis

Here is my latest and greatest achievement in Wii Tennis. I don't think any real person has ever made it to 2000, although one of the characters I play shows a 2000 score every time I play. It seems that if I beat a 2000, I should achieve a 2000. This is probably my best my score will ever be.

Wii Golf

Last night Patrick and I enjoyed a couple of 9-hole games of Wii Golf, and on the second game I was able to set a new personal record. As you can see from the pic, Patrick was able to set a personal record for himself too. It was really great to finish strong with an eagle on 9. Keep swinging folks!

Wii Fitness

Well, I have to say that I feel pretty good about myself today, seeing how I reduced my age by 33 years! According to today's fitness test, I am as fit as a 24 year-old! That is younger than my baby Ben! The skills involved were putting (from the green,) power bowling (which involves starting with 10 pins and working your way up to 91 pins in a single frame) and boxing. The boxing skill involves punching a bag until you knock it off its chains. The skill that I seem to have the most trouble with is baseball. The one where you try to hit the ball over the fence for a home run. (Although I did get 3 homers the other night.) As we can all see from the chart, I have been a bit up and down in my fitness. Now I need to concentrate on keeping fit, even when I'm tested in baseball.

Wii Sports

At first, I didn't think that this toy would be this much fun. I am speaking of the Wii Nintendo game. I had turned pro in golf earlier, and last night with a score of 224, it threw me into the pro status in bowling. At the very least, this game (or these games) will get you off of the couch, and moving about a bit. You aren't just sitting there pushing buttons on the controller.
