1. What is the title or basic premise of this show?
2. Who is the lady sitting in the squad car with Andy?
3. What was she telling Andy she was trying to do earlier?
4. Who is the fellow on the right in the middle pic?
5. He was charged with a crime and locked up in the "Rock." What was that crime?
I wish you all success. Can you tell I'm on vacation? Yes, I'm at the beach, but I may not be able to post any beach stuff until after I return.

Too hard! From the last picture it seems as though Barney is quitting, so maybe this is the citizen's arrest episode? The old guy is Fred and they worked Barney over after Gomer made his arrest..........

John Riley forwarded this to me knowing my addiction to the show. Marie and I actually spent this July 4th in Mayberry and met the real Emmett. Here's my guesses.
1. The episode is where Andy leaves Barney as acting sherrif while Andy is gone. Andy returns to find that Barney has arrested pretty much the whole town, including Aunt Bee.
2. Hilda May(sic?)
3. She had been trying to cheer Barney up after Andy had dismissed all the charges against the townfolk and everyone was laughing at and making fun of Barney.
4. Judd who was arrested for 'disturbing the peace'.
5. I'm guessing that Otis was charged with public drunkedness. if not, you've got me stumped.
All correct fishin 'cept for no.5. The question was what was he (Judd) charged with? The answer disturbing the peace over a checker game.
