GOING TO DC
We are heading to DC this weekend to see our son and his bride. We plan to take in the evening parade that the Marines do at 8th and I in the Navy Yard on Friday. On Saturday we have a trip planned to the zoo and then a picnic in the afternoon. We are looking forward to this trip, and I will be sure to give a good journal upon our return. Have a nice weekend.

howd the singing go? hope you guys have a blast up at DC. the marine barracks washington evening parade is a great show.
Thanks, Kevin. The singing was OK. Your dad said it was great, but I started a little too high and that made it a bit of a stretch to hit the high notes. I will know to start lower next time. I might try for a Sat. night so more people will be there--maybe I could get discovered!!
