Andy Again
I can clearly see from the last quiz that I made the questions too easy. So here is a general quiz with several extra credit questions from several episodes:
1. How far is Mayberry from Raleigh (in miles?)
2. What is the street address of Andy Taylor?
3. Where is Malcom Merriweather from? (City and Country)
4. Who is Gerald Whitfield?
5. Who is Netty Albright?
6. One evening Carter French was having a boiled dinner at the fire station. What were they going to do afterward?

9 Comments:
1. Same as Rocky Mount to Raleigh; 60 miles
2. Maple Street
3. Dublin (guess) Ireland (certain, couldn't fight with no Irishter)
4. Thelma Lou's husband or fiancee
5. Hotty that liked Barney
6. No idea, catch tadpoles?
You are truly amazing Duke. Here are the official answers:
1. 55 miles, according to Goober.
2. 332 Maple Road
3. Heckmondwyke, England at least according to one epi, but I do remember he told Ernest T. Bass in another that he was from somewhere in Ireland (maybe so that he wouldn't fight him.) If anyone else has anything to add here, please do. Remember the reason ET wanted to fight him was because he was an "Englishter."
4. Thelma Lou's first husband. They had been married 6 weeks when they came back to a reunion of Mayberry Union High. (Later she did end up marrying Barney.)
5. Hotty that liked Barney in high school and at the reunion.
6. Play cribbage.
You may grade your own paper, but I don't think anyone will compete with you, Big John.
P.S. To Old Paratrooper: Please don't copy and paste my answers and pretend you didn't look at them first. If you have anything constructive to add, you may do so. Have a nice day.
One more extra extra credit question:
What was the Robert E. Lee Natural Bridge?
1. Same as Rocky Mount to Raleigh, 55 miles
2. Maple Street, partial credit?
3. I remember now, Malcom's mother was Irish and that's why Ernest T wouldn't fight him (after he took his job as the school crossing guard)
4. Yes!
5. Yes!
6. Play cribbage? I was thinking he was a kid. Oh well, keep'm coming
Duke, you are truly in a class by yourself!
I am still waiting for someone to answer what was the Robert E. Lee Natural Bridge? Will there be any participants here?
It's a oak tree that fell across a shallow spot in the creek. It is between the Darling farm and where ET Bass lives.
The Old Paratrooper comes through with the extra extra credit question. He is not going to allow the Duke to pull a skunk! Congrats.
