Another Andy

I have had some requests to make the Andy questions a tad bit easier. So here is my latest effort.
1. What does the song in the above video make Briscoe Darling do? (Hint: Watch Briscoe real closely during the song. He is the one playing the jug.)
2. Now from what episode is this clip found? (Hint: At the beginning of this show, Opie shows Andy some tricks he has learned like making a wishbone soft so it won't break, and getting a large egg into a small-mouth milk bottle.)

I'm going to venture a couple of guesses out there:
1. Makes him cry? I remember Charlene cried at a song about Grandma getting hit by a stick, not sure if Briscoe cried at the one or not. It sure is a pretty
2. Time to marry Opie to their daughter, Andiline or something like that
How did I do?

You scored 100! You are some tough competition Duke! Of course, one would expect that from anyone with that name. (Not just talking about the university, I think of the actor, John (the Duke) Wayne as well.) So now that we know which episode we are dealing with, let me ask ANYONE ELSE if they know what special ink did Opie and Andy use to sign a certain document? I hope this one is not to difficult...

Maybe the OP can figure out the last question, in the mean time I'll just vanish........
There's witchcraft in that family!

I read once where the Dillards still received royalties for using their own music in the show; unlike the actors who are not able to get any money for reruns owned by the production company.

I believe the Duke has managed to answer that last question without even trying. At least he gave the rest of the class a very good hint. If there aren't going to be any more participants, I will have to put the Duke in the HAG class. (For some who may not know that term, its the highly academically gifted. In this case it may stand for highly Andy gifted.)

Don't you people have work to do? 5 comments before noon, come on! He wrote in "invisible ink". Jduke is also correct with the correct name, Dillards, not Darlings and that Andy thought he could get a better deal by paying royaltes and less $$ upfront. I hope they also bought stock in that company that had something to do with Apples. What movie is that from?

Today it just so happens that I have caught up pretty well, mainly due to my industrious work ethic that I maintained last week. (My work tends to build up during the week.) As for the movie question about buying stock in something that has to do with Apples, that would be the new iMovie that's coming out first of next year. Just kidding...Forrest Gump.

Oh, I almost forgot, old paratrooper. You got the question right about the invisible ink. Congrats!
